Shamis bin Ali Al Dhaheri is the Vice Chairman and Group Managing Director. With 20 years of experience in business, Shamis has learned that the right teams guided by the right leaders can create miracles.
Shamis graduated from University College London with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and has received a Certificate of Achievement from the late H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum for his services to the UAE. He worked as an engineer before joining Ali & Sons' industrial sector.
At Ali & Sons, Shamis is focused on building a stable family business that solves problems for both customers and the community. He enjoys working on things he’s passionate about with a team he loves, and creating long-term, sustainable growth. Shamis also regularly gives back to the community through different charity projects.
When he’s not working, Shamis enjoys cycling, boxing, and travelling. Meeting new people and learning about their experiences fascinates him, and he loves to spend time with friends, family, and a good book.
