Another milestone in the history of Ali & Sons Group of Companies is now taking its place…In fact, not only in our Group´s history, but to the industry and business world as well. We have turned 30 years! 30 years of solidarity, camaraderie and strong leadership.

Through the years, we had proven our expertise and strong foundation. We were able to survive all economic crisis and hurdles; we have gone through the hoops of industry´s strenuous competition. We´ve been connected and reconnected to new allies, groups, companies, friends and supporters. We have the bittersweet memories and the triumphant battles. We have had our share of losses, gains and equalisers.

As the Chairman, looking back on the years have that passed, I have nothing to say but smile. Smile for the achievements that the Group has achieved, smile for the trials we have gone through and smile for the loyal friends and dedicated men and women who continuously worked for the Group. These people are the unsung heroes behind Ali & Sons Group of Co. Without their expertise, loyalty and dedication we would not have reached the status we have now, being one of the major players in the industry.

I am just the Leader of the Group. All the accolades and merits should go to the solid workforce behind Ali & Sons Group. What do you think is the essence of being a good leader if you don´t have the good people to lead on? How can you say the Management as Good if it comprises and benefits only few people? Ali & Sons has been blessed with wonderful people who have been loyal and dedicated to us. And for 30 years they have continued to strive, support and help us make it BIG in the every field that we decided to venture into.

Amid the global economic crisis, what we need to see is our ability to grow and benefit from the market situation, as they say "where there is a loss, comes an opportunity". In addition, we need to stand-up to the upcoming challenges and to strengthen our abilities to grow with the solidly built foundation of AS Group.

We are on our 30 years, and I firmly believe, that we can make it for decades to come!. I have so much faith in my people. And as your leader, I am confident that YOU have proven to be a source of inspiration for me to keep going... and still going. TOGETHER, we will embark on new horizons, conquer another milestone, and emerge triumphantly in a new dimension not as an individual... but as a TEAM..
